TOMORROW <<<->>> Friday, July 24 · 12:00 – 1:00pm EST Dance & Journal Hour with Jenny Video call link: https://meet.google.com/jnh-hcgk-xhe HEY BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE! Please join me if you're free for 15 min or more. Drop in at noon and leave early if you like. This hour is casual and facilitated, the best of both worlds. We'll dip in and out according to the vibe of the attendees. I'll be practicing talking while we dance together too!!! Come flow with me! I took Sylvie Minot's Outreach Facilitator Movement Training over a year ago and haven't yet really practiced the facilitation techniques she taught so you'll be helping me develop these skills in our time together on Fridays. THANK YOU! I tend to naturally channel aligned guided meditations, so if you've been in session with me or circles, you know how lovely and cozy supportive this can feel. These Dance & Journal hours are by donation only via Venmo @jenny-dipasupil. They're also an opportunity for all of us to get to know one another more authentically and feel supported in loving, compassionate community. COME AS YOU ARE. ALL MOODS ARE WELCOME. Here's a follow up to our attachment discussion which will be ongoing: Also, in preparation for GOOD GRIEF: THE WAKE UP on Aug 22, 2026, I'll be deep diving through my own grief so I'll be a strong container holder for us. You can trust you'll be in good hands because I'm headed to Sylvie Minot's Medicine Circle in Portland, OR next month where I'll be working through themes of self-forgiveness, opening to receive love, and sorting through feelings of guilt and shame. ALL THAT GOOD STUFF. LOL If you don't know my story, I can share that at age 17 I experienced a traumatic event that changed the course of my life. What I didn't realize at the time is that I wasn't necessarily DEPRESSED (I was so insanely functional most days) but what I was trying to move through was years of UNPROCESSED GRIEF. They can look very similar but they are different and we can be in these wonderful mixed states too. The narrative that's currently being rewritten is uncoupling creativity with deep, deep sorrow. I want to create happy art now, not dark, depressing shit, although my inner goth girl will ALWAYS love that vibe. lol When I was in high school I went through an intense period of drawing, painting, and creating sculpture. It's literally what kept me alive and feeling, otherwise I was struggling with lots of emptiness and numbness. MUSIC was also my go-to outlet. So to help you prepare for our Grief Dance & Ritual, I'm inviting you to NAME YOUR LOSSES. They are things you never think of, but are so potent and real, full of feelings... things like mourning... -- lost opportunities (for example, I wish I went to art school in undergrad) -- failures (for example, I dropped out of grad school and nursing school) -- missing out on receiving the love of my dad after my suicide attempt at age 17 -- the ending of motherhood (Syd's 18 now!) -- aging/fading youth... gray hair... perimenopause (ugh)... wishing I wore more short skirts in my 20s lol Think of REGRETS and you'll run into a windfall of GRIEF. What we also want to be doing in preparation is RESOURCING, RESOURCING, RESOURCING... We will spend a lot of time feeling GOOD before we swim in the waters of our grief. As Francis Weller reminds us, we must grieve as the adult self (not inner child) which means to stay trauma-informed and gentle, we keep one foot in present day and the other can step back into the past. THINK ABOUT YOUR ANCHORS >>> That day, eat your favorite breakfast, wear an outfit you feel amazing in, luxuriate in all your faves now through AUG 22. That's great self-care, self-love practice anyway. BE IN NATURE. COMMUNE WITH NATURE. TALK TO THE TREES. TOUCH THE PETALS OF FLOWERS (with permission). NOTICE THE ANIMALS SAYING HI. LOOK UP AT THE SKY. OFTEN. ETC. REDISCOVER YOUR GREATEST JOYS IN LIFE if this is available to you! I'll be out of town Aug 1-11, first visiting my mom in FL with Syd and then I'll be in Portland, OR. Don't hesitate to text me any time. I'm here for you all! 771-245-4513 If you need deeper processing, reach out for a Somatic EMDR session or Process Call. Both are amazing for sorting through and getting clear on life. Remember that feeling lost is temporary. I can help you move through to the other side... Please reach out if you need help! With love & sunshine, JENNY P.S. Sunday in-person appointment slots in Arlington are booking up. Snag yours now. Hours are 8am to 2pm. HELLO FRIENDS!!! The end of summer is coming in quickly... EEEK. To begin the long, sad goodbye to summer vibes, I'll be hosting a wonderfully therapeutic Cacao & Dance with EXTRA RITUAL on Saturday, August 22, 2026. It will be an hour longer to allow ample time for shares and integration. I know, I know!!! We're all OVER BEING SAD. We've all done our grief work. I get it. And I ALSO KNOW that many of us are carrying things IN OUR BODIES that we don't even realize are there. THIS IS WHAT...
